Carved is available in the following Quicktime formats:

• AppleTV 720p h.264 AAC (220 MB)
• iPhone (SD) 480x240 h.264 AAC (45 MB)

Your downloads, as well as the bandwidth towards your IP are monitored. I reserve the right to block your account, shall you abuse the download system.

Guidelines for smooth playback

• Make sure, you have the latest Quicktime version installed.
• Consider VLC player as alternative.
• 1080p version requires at least a 2Ghz Core2Duo CPU
• 720p version requires at least a 2Ghz CPU.
• Play from local disk, do not stream over the network.

Guidelines for download

• Wifi might be a problem for a 571 MB or more.
• Connect to your router with a cable, and turn wifi off - that is a more reliable way to download.

Carved is hosted on a moderate fast server. Please understand, that the server is not designed for high loads ala the iTunes Store. If you have download problems, or a too slow download, please try again later, or restart the download. It may not necessarily always be the server, as many factors influence the data flow from the server to you. Also, note the sizes of the dowloads. You should download the appropriate file size, you are used to download, not necessarily go for the largest. You should get download speeds around 50KB/s on average.

Guidelines for Playstation 3 playback

Upon extraction, you will find a VIDEO folder. Put this folder on a USB drive, formated so that the PS3 can read it (FAT32) and plug it to the port of your PS3. The PS3 should recognize and play the file.

Guidelines for DVD burning

This is a standard DVD ISO image file. Download and burn with your favorite burning application on MAC/PC/Linux as a disk image (not as Data-DVD). If you use Nero on the PC, please rename the ending of the file from ".img" to ".iso". You may also be intersted in the Carved DVD box Artwork.
